So What

Lists
“Sometimes people let the same problem make them miserable for years when they could just say, “So what.” “My mother didn’t love me.” So what. ”My husband won’t ball me. So what. ”I’m a success but I’m still alone.” So what. I don’t know how I made it through all the years before I learned how to do that trick. It took a long time for me to learn it, but once you do, you never forget.” Andy Warhol

1) No matter how young or old you are, you should be able to enjoy what you’re doing, if you can’t find any good reason to be doing it, let it go and move on.

2) Change is inevitable. People say time changes things, but come on, change won’t happen without you doing something. Accept and acknowledge, swim don’t sink.

3) If you want to be in someone’s life, be in it, doesn’t matter where you are or how, believe me, there are a thousand ways to do so.

4) It’s ok to cry and feel sad.

5) Help yourself before helping others, and let the people around you, help you.

6) Stressing over something? You know what can come out of it, only wrinkles and sleepless nights. So don’t be afraid, again, let people in and take time to think things through. When setting goals, I find no harm in taking it a bit higher more than the usual, it makes you thrive harder, when you reach it, it’s going to be awesome, if you don’t, well sometimes it’s the journey itself that’s more meaningful. When I was having second thoughts of leaving home, I asked my best friend for advice and he told me that for him, living alone in a foreign land for the first time is reason enough for him to take it.

7) Know your strengths and take advantage of them, but never take advantage of other people.

8) It’s ok to be alone.

9) Realize this, it’s not a race.

10) Don’t compare yourself to anyone and let that be your limit. In fact, don’t limit yourself at all.
